The structured PhD program under FoE provides flexibility in multidisciplinary research that focussed on innovative solutions to the real-world industry problems as well as societal issues. FoE has motivated intellectual faculty who consider research as an integral part of their responsibilities and publish research papers in highly reputed journals. Simultaneously faculty is also engaged in different externally / internally funded projects therein producing the promising results. FoE ensures that the infrastructural facilities including online data base are made available to the researchers, and encourage them to file patents on their findings.

FoE has also initiated the collaboration of researcher from reputed universities abroad by appointing the faculty from these universities as co-supervisor to their PhD scholars.
