Funded research within university precincts pertains to scholarly or scientific inquiries undertaken with financial backing from external entities such as governmental bodies, private foundations, corporations, or philanthropic organizations. Symbiosis International (Deemed University) extends institutional support to its faculty members and researchers through its dedicated administrative entity, the Research and Innovation Promotion Division, known as SCRI. This division, established to foster research and innovation, plays a pivotal role in facilitating and managing research activities within the university.
